“PlantSitters.Network” is our new way of connecting people who love plants with local households looking for reliable plant care while they are away.
We are currently building our community of PlantSitters across major Swiss cities and are looking for friendly, reliable people who would like to care for plants locally.
Become a local PlantSitter
If you enjoy looking after plants and would like to help people in your area, PlantSitters Network makes it easy to find local opportunities.
Joining is free. Once your PlantSitter profile has been approved, you can see suitable plant-care requests in the cities you cover and decide which ones you are interested in.
You stay in control

- Send a clear quote through the platform
- Meet the client and their plants before the service begins
- Arrange the service and payment directly with the client
- Build your profile through completed jobs and client reviews
- There is no obligation to accept a particular request
How it works
1. Create your profile
Tell us a little about yourself, the cities you cover, the languages you speak and whether you are happy caring for indoor plants, outdoor plants or both.
2. Get approved
We review PlantSitter applications before profiles become active on the Network.
3. See local opportunities
When clients request plant care in a city you cover, you can view the opportunity and decide whether you would like to respond.
4. Send your quote
If a client selects you, you can prepare a clear quote through PlantSitters Network based on the dates, visit frequency and care required.
5. Meet before the holiday
Arrange a short meeting at the property to see the plants, confirm the arrangements and organise key or access details.
6. Look after the plants
Provide the agreed care while the client is away. The client pays you directly for your service.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing.
There is currently no membership fee or commission for PlantSitters joining the Network.
Clients pay PlantSitters Network a small one-time introduction fee when they choose a PlantSitter. Payment for the actual plant-care service is arranged directly between the client and PlantSitter.
Where is PlantSitters Network available?
We are starting in selected cities across Switzerland and gradually building local PlantSitter communities.
The Network is currently focused on onboarding PlantSitters so that clients have a strong choice of local people when bookings open more widely.

The Network takes that idea beyond Zurich by helping local PlantSitters and plant owners find each other across Switzerland.
Our aim is to make arranging plant care clearer and easier while keeping the relationship local and personal.
